Syed Razeen ‘Raz’ Uddin

I have been a personal trainer for many years working across London both in the city gym environment and local community facilities where I have gained the experience to aid many people in living a healthier lifestyle. Through exercise and by improving my clients nutritional habits I have enabled clients to move more productively and efficiently improving fitness for day to day activities, their working environment and even competitive sports.I have a keen interest in combat sports and compete in Brazilian Jui Jitsu tournaments fighting for the Roger Gracie Academy, and also train with Kevin Chan of Kamon Martial Arts and study various other forms of martial arts.I have practiced boxing pad work with Colin Macmillan (former World Feather Weight title holder) to develop the skills of pad work for my clients and combat sports.Through the knowledge in sports therapy and functional assessments I have been able to aid in improving posture and gait (peoples walking pattern) supporting recovery from injuries with corrective exercises, stretching, muscle repair and relaxation techniques.I work with Ability Bow charity which is a specialist GP/physio/doctor referral service in East London where I have had the opportunity to work with people from varying backgrounds and special conditions from stroke sufferers, MS patients, injury rehab and psychological conditions.I believe the body needs to be approached as a whole when looking at health and fitness so exercise, nutrition and recovery are all key to individuals function and progression in attaining goals and targets, I aim to improve all of these fields in order to achieve the best results.
